footnote numbers

Suddenly, footnote numbers are not appearing in my documents. What I mean is this: If I copy some text from a commentary for example and paste it into a Word document, the reference is numbered in the text, but the accompanying number does not show up in the footnote citation. This is working in Logos 3 fine but not in Logos 4. Any suggestions?

Randy, this issue seems to have come up with the release of 4.0d. There is another thread on this: http://community.logos.com/forums/t/19538.aspx
Logos knows about it and plans to fix it. It wasn't fixed by the SR-1 release yesterday, however.

Thanks, Mark. I just got back from vacation and missed that thread.

Mark, I see this issue is addressed in 4.1.

The same here. I reloaded Microsoft Word and reset points, etc., before I realize that it was Logos 4. It is only Logos 4 Citations that does not show a number in the footnote/endnote area. It does show it in the text in the body of the document. The only way I know is to re-footnote the entry manually.
I hope there is a better solution.
The Copy footnotes is to copy footnotes from the Bible or other books, when copied. It has nothing to do with numbers in the citation area.

The generated footnote number for the citation is the only issue I see in 4.0d SR-1 and that is fixed in 4.1 Beta 2; but don't rush to 4.1 for this - it is still a Beta!

Yep, it is now working in the beta. Strange that it disappeared in the first place. Perhaps it can get into a service release for 4.0d before 4.1 is fully tested.

I would hope so.
