Reading Plan Question

How does "Adjust Plan from today" work? For example, I have a reading plan and I have read through Saturday's assignments. I right clicked to adjust plan from today, expecting to see Sunday's reading start at today and move forward. But it didn't seem to do anything. What am I doing wrong? 4.0d SR-1.

This feature allows you to modify the schedule of the entire reading plan. Lets say you have a reading plan that is scheduled to begin today and will run for the next four days. You decide that you cannot start until day after tomorrow. Right click on that day and select "adjust reading plan from here". It should move the entire plan over to begin on that day.

That is what should have happened, unless the plan was scheduled to finish before today. Since I am frequently behind in my reading plans, I have much experience with this command. However, you cannot adjust the plan past the scheduled completion date. If the last date in your plan was Sunday or Monday, L4 would not move Sunday's reading to today.

I was trying to adjust the end date sooner, in other words move my next reading, Sunday, to today. When I right clicked on "Adjust plan from today" when I right click on the title of the resource nothing happens. Should it?

Right Click in the date space away from any text (Watch out for the "Done" button).

OK maybe a picture will help, as it still does not seem to do what I want. As you can see in the picture, I have read through Saturday (tomorrow), page 149 - all are checked. Sunday, page 150 is not. I tried right clicking there, and on today, and clicking "Adjust plan from here", hoping it would MOVE pg 150 to today, and adjusting the plan. I know you can reschedule to push out the schedule if you are behind, can't you move up the schedule if you are ahead as well?

Now, I understand! No you cannot adjust a plan in that direction. This was mentioned in another thread several weeks ago.

Ah! Thanks Jack. I remembered the thread I guess I remembered the topic part and not the "you can't do this part" [:D]
