Opening Notes causes viewing problems in guides

This has been an issue for me since A27.

When I open a notes tab and go to one of the guide tabs (PG, EG or Word Study but NOT search) I get a "letterbox" effect. i.e only a few lines are shown and it is necessary to scroll up and down to view the guides. The "letterbox" is the exact same size as the white area for writing notes in the Notes tab, the rest of the tab window is grey. 

If I add extra lines to the notes the letterbox in the guides grows in proportion, if I close notes everything is back to normal.

    Yep. Tony, I can reproduce this with Beta 2. 

    1) Open a Notes document in one panel.

    2) Open a PG and put it in the same panel as the notes panel.

    3) Switch back to the Notes panel then switch to the PG.

     

    I'm pretty sure I know what the problem is. It should be a relatively simple fix. I've filed a bug for it.

    Another point: When notes are opened should there be a hyperlink to the resource that the note is inserted into?

    If you have a bible open that has a note inserted clicking on the link will open the note but clicking in the note doesn't open the passage.

    Is this the normal behavior? Is it going to be implemented at some later stage?
