Whenever my indexing gets to 34% the app shuts down and I lose all progress. Here are the logs.5873538.Archive.zip

It looks like part of your index has become corrupted.

    Try deleting the file /Users/<you>/Library/Application Support/Logos 4/Data/<blah>/LibraryIndex/LibraryIndex.db

    Didn't work. I'm just doing a complete re-install.

    Jeremy,

I wonder if you're running out of memory, or if you have a corrupted resource. In this case, most likely, reinstalling won't fix the problem. Try deleting '/Users/jeremy/Library/Application Support/Logos4/Data/gy7dynfx.ptp/ResourceManager/Resources/NPNF20.logos4' and see if it gets further.

Re-install didn't work. I deleted NPNF20.logos4. We will see what happens in a couple hours :( The rub of the whole thing is that each time I change something it takes 2-3 hours to see if it works. We'll see.

Here are the logs from the most recent crash. The crash happened around 345 (I think). It's odd though because this time it was only indexing some 300 resources. I have around 1700. When I checked it at 3 AM it only had 20 minutes left because of the smaller number. When I woke up this morning though it had started over and was around 30%.6862.Archive.zip

Looks like 1803 resources downloaded in 3 hours, followed by resource discovery (24 minutes), Library Catalog index (6 minutes), Bible indexing of 198 resources (2 hours, 6 minutes), followed by Library indexing of 1748 resources - posted logs show 33.8 % progress (after 3 hours, including pause and resume).

When used "Rebuild Index" in A23 - Bible indexing of 217 resources took 31 minutes, Library indexing of 1392 resources took 1.5 hours (iMac quad core i7 with 16 GB RAM bit faster).  Guessing 6 to 8 hours for Library indexing of 1748 resources.

The console messages posted today does not show any crashes while yesterday's set did.

If indexing crash, possible idea is restarting Mac - watch for blue icon to appear - open Indexer.log file to see progress - let Logos index (not use Mac until indexing done).

Console utility note: if Indexer.log showing last line, automatically scrolls as more lines written to file.

    Keep Smiling [:)]
