Clicking footnotes doesn't work in beta 2

One of the things I do constantly when reading resources that contain footnotes is to click them to bring up a floating window that allows you to read the footnote fully, including clicking any resource references in the footnotes. Hovering over the footnote does bring up a tooltip, but that's not the same.
I would really like to see this addressed sooner than later because I can't easily read some of my resources as a result (e.g. the NET Bible).

I at first thought that power lookup would get around this issue, but it doesn't seem to. It also seems to be inconsistent about what the cut off length is in power lookup varying by resource. I definitely miss this feature as well.
