Hebrews 10:26-29

I would like to hear a discussion on the blood of the covenant and the wilful sin. Looking at Hebrews Ch. 9 and Ch. 10 it is apparent from reading the Book of Hebrews that a comparision is made between Old and New, shadow and substance. Following that line of reasoning and taking into account that in the context... that Hebrews 10:26-29 is "one" sentence ! That the wilful sin is committed by an OT Jew who was under the OT covenant of "animals blood (Exodus 24:8/Heb. 9:20) receives the "knowledge of the truth" then rejects it and "tries" to go back to Judaism, (Went back/John 6:66)...For that man, there "remaineth no more sacrifice for sins." The wilful sin is found in John 16:9 (Unbelief),and this Jew that received the "Knowledge" of the truth is of the same ilk as the "false teachers and "false prophets" in 2 Peter 2:22, that were never saved because they were called pigs and dogs! In Luke 8: It says ....from them will be taken even that which "they seemeth to save." Doug Lamb PS Excuse any spelling errors as I have trouble with small print.

Sorry - this is a forum for the use of Logos not for the discussion of theology. See forum guidelines.
I would start looking for information with a search for "blood NEAR covenant" (without the quote marks. Diagramming Hebrews in block diagrams might also be useful. Looking at the clausal diagrams for Hebrews 10:26-29 is another possible starting point.

You don't need to formally sign out. Just browse to other web pages and everything will be fine. Good luck finding a forum that does discuss theology - there are several.
