The cat is out of the Bag.
Is it possible to colour code the forum for 4.0, to avoid making this mistake again?

I rather suspected that something of the sort would happen sooner or later. I also thought that there was some protection against this since it would require a new thread for it to happen. Unfortunately, that is what has occurred -- Murphy's Law.

Is Murphy some kind of autocrat? I didn't vote for him.
I moved it to the appropriate forum. Let's hope that the 21 who read it were beta testers.
This is the second time this has happened. In both cases we've been able to catch it quickly and move it before there have been any replies to it.
I don't think the cat is completely out of the bag yet. Let's try to keep it that way.

I suppose the lack of emoticons masked the silly, sarcastic tone in my voice? [:P]

I was the "other guy" and am much more careful now. In fact in my case you found it so quickly that when I later went back to find the post and edit it, you had already deleted it.
Makes me want to avoid the regular forums that much more.
But another thought occurred... perhaps the noticeable absence of so many top posters will fuel the rumor mill?

I had the same thought. However personally...I wasn't that present in the general forums anyway. They way I check the forums (using the unread posts) has been the thing that kept me safe. When I want to write a post I have to navigate to the forum I want to post in which means my mind goes automatically into safety mode.
Yes, I realized that and that is why I try to post from time to time in the regular forum also. I think we should do that. George is not going to be able to do that all for us. We should flame some good discussion in the general forum [:)]
I drop in occassionally to post something. At the moment there seems to be a big interest in the Campbellite materials which has no interest for me so I stay out of that. The answer to the potential problem is to occassionally post something and let them think you're busy (which you are).

Perhaps I should start a new post in general? "The George Somsel Flame War Thread"
LOL, Nah I'll just wait for the next one. Someone is sure to get misunderstood soon enough, and fail to read what George actually writes and respond with a knee jerk off the cuff tirade.
That about sum it up?

I think you nailed it.
Is that a reference to the cross? Oh come on George...can you ever go without starting a theological discussion?

ROFLOL ! That is about what some of the respondents do -- infer things which I didn't imply.
how about this
We all go into the regular forums and start a discussion about how good/bad the Logos 3 home page is. Nah, it would be too hard to not spill the beans. But fun.

Hey, I think your on to something. We could start preping people for 4.0 by saying "you know I was giving it some thought and I think Logos should move more towards automation...sorta like a cloud mentality" or "Logos we NEED customizable, savable guides...do you hear us?"
"Logos we NEED customizable, savable guides...do you hear us?"
[:O] EEK! [:O]
I almost did it. I was preparing to answer a question with a screenshot and just glanced up at the breadcrumb trail just in time to notice that I wasn't in the beta forums.
Is this what the cool kids felt like over in the corner laughing as they looked at us at the geek table at lunch?
<Chuckle>Probably Kevin</chuckle>
How about complaining about how hard it is to find books in "My Library" in 3.0? Or complain about how long it takes to search libraries and even collections? Of course, with comments about how we have complained about this for years...
