I have a question about searching

I want to search for items on Simon in Church History. But I do not want to get all the references to Menno Simons. I am searching a collection of resources for Church History.
So, I put in "Simon NOT Menno Simons" and "Simon (NOT Menno Simons)" etc. but I still get all the hits for Menno Simons. How do I limit the search?

I think I just found the answer to my own question. You have to add ANDNOT, instead of just NOT.

Orthodox Bishop Alfeyev: "To be a theologian means to have experience of a personal encounter with God through prayer and worship."; Orthodox proverb: "We know where the Church is, we do not know where it is not."

Thanks.
Is there a list of these correct search parameter "terms" somewhere (like ANDNOT)?

You also need to have "Menno Simons" in quotes:
So you'd search for Simon ANDNOT "Menno Simons"
The list of all these search terms and tricks is on the wiki here: http://wiki.logos.com/Search_HELP
