The Index process is failing BUT program runs fine

After the "We must send error report to Microsoft" message - The indexer itself does NOT resume - program begins and appears to act normally BUT with NO indexing having happened.

It looks like there might have been a problem updating. To fix it, please perform the following two steps:
- Delete the file: C:\Documents and Settings\Stephen\Local Settings\Application Data\Logos4\Data\x1dsklus.tt5\UpdateManager\Updates.db
- Run Logos 4 Setup from http://downloads.logos.com/LBS4/LDLS4Installer/Logos4Setup.exe to ensure that everything is up to date.

Indexing is again happening, so all appears to be well.
(There did seem to be "multiple" download/restarts etc last night - but this one seems to be "flawless')
