I am glad that logos now saves my Program settings for the font size. However, when I increase the default font size to 120%, the top ribbon leaves me with a LOT of wasted space. Why does my email address require more space than my reading plans and other tools?

I suppose it is designed to work best with the default size. Based on the underwhelming response from Logos, there seems to be little interest in optimizing this for people who have bad eyesight. Should I even bother to report layout issues? I am thinking no.

Each of the tools in the ribbon have the same set width, and they will fill whatever space is available.
The only thing limiting the number of tools visible is actually the search box (unless you have a really long email address). You can see this by slowly changing the width of the window (There is a
point when the tools are almost touching the Go button). Recent reading lists use the same width as all the other tools, and the empty space that you see will be used by many topics, you just happen to have a few very short ones.

The amount of
space provided for the email address was designed to work with most email
addresses. It will actually move over the search box with certain screen widths until it reaches the Logos logo.

Yes, it is designed to work best with the default text size, but it will be improved more in the future.

There will be a few more layout improvements to the home page in Beta 5.
