IS there a way to find out if some Logos users are in the same vicinity that I'm in without giving too much private info?

Many of us have already posted our city and state details in other threads. You might do a Google search of this site for a nearby city. Or just search for your state to see if there have been any postings from your location. The same could be for countries if you live outside the US.
You might also post a zip code - not yours, but one near you or a major node located near you. For example, I live near 14600, but as far as I know, nobody actually lives in that particular zip code. This zip code defines a significantly large region, it would locate users in my area.
I, too, would like to find users in my area. Living in a large city, I expect that there are some - but I do not know that. Good luck on your hunt.
Also do a Google search as follows (copy/paste this exact search text):
{"users group" | "user's group"} site:community.logos.com
There have been a few efforts to start up Logos users groups in various metropolitan areas, and you might find one near you that way.
