B5: Search Window vertical scrolling

One of the challenges that I have had after moving from the Hi-Res 17" MBP to a 13" MBP is the workspace area. Where I used to have tools on both the left and right, I now have them all on the right. I am settled with just two resource windows dividing the remaining screen area. The problem is the Search Window. If I put it on one of the two resource areas, there is not enough room to display everything. Is there plans to either 1) add a vertical scroll bar on the search window? or 2) compress the top search options area better? I tried to reduce the text size, but don't see any options to do that. I also tried to put the search window at the bottom of the screen. But the toolbar area of the search window takes up so much space that the window fills half of the screen, leaving no room for readable text

The screen shot you have in your post, what you are seeing is essentially what I see in the Windows version as well. Are you wondering if a horizontal scroll bar will be included so you can see more of the verse? If that is indeed the case, you may want to add to your list of features you would like added. The only difference in that respect, between the Mac and Windows version, is that where in the Mac on either side of the verse when the verse reaches off screen there is an elipsis, in Windows it is a decrease in opacity creating a fade effect. In both there is no horizontal scroll bar.

Actually I now see that the problem I was looking at is only with the Syntax Search instance. The query button is not in view to choose and initiate a search. (see below) But on the other hand, I am not able to get this to work anyway, so maybe the problem is not as bad as I was thinking. But as you can see below, it isn't workable in this instance. Maybe the opentext should be abbreviated and take up less room? You can see how it isn't the results that are cropped, but the search options themselves. You will have to forgive me on the windows feature comparisons. I haven't used L4Win in so long now that I don't remember how it looked.

I filed a bug. The Query button should appear at that width, in Windows the panel has to be pretty narrow for the query button to disappear, and there should be an ellipsis where the text disappears.
