Request Chapter Boundaries in Reading Plan

Currently in the reading plans you can designate # of verses as a length of reading, but not chapters.
Please let us set # of chapters as a reading length for Bible reading plans.
This is not the first time such a request has been made.

There's nothing on Uservoice (http://logos.uservoice.com/forums/42823-logos-bible-software-4) but I'm out of votes anyway. [:(]

I think early on in the beta process the reading plan did break things up into chapters for non-bible resources at least, but then it was requested that we be able to exlcude things like table of contents, indexes etc from reading plans. Unfortunately the developers swung the pendulum too far the other way to accomodate this and we ended up with break up by page numbers alone. I agree this needs to be re-looked at for both bible and non-bile resources.
For bibles I'd like to see the option of being able to choose either chapters or a specific pericope set as the basis for break-up. More fixed reading plans in addition to the single plan being tested in 4.1 beta would also be great. Difficulty is what set plans do you include. Everyone has their favourite plan.
We had chapter break-up available in Libronix 3 and I agree it's time to look at bringing (back) into Logos 4.

Know the feeling.......now if user voice was linked with our logos.com logins, they could give each user a bonus vote for each full year since they first registered with logos.com.... should be a few bonus votes in their somewhere for MVP's as well..

[y] I think this would go a LONG way to curing your question about whose plan to include. Most plans are broken along chapter boundaries anyway -so that functionality makes sense. Adding the ability to break on pericopes of one's choosing is just brilliant.Andrew McKenzie said:For bibles I'd like to see the option of being able to choose either chapters or a specific pericope set as the basis for break-up.
