Newbie Question - Word Search

I guess I have to break down and purchase the User's Guide.

However, how can I search for all the references to a particular word - say faith - in a Bible or Greek Text? The old Logos software (ages ago) had a simple text search. Is there a way to search for all the passages where faith is found?

I would really appreciate the help.

Logos 4 has a variety of ways to search for faith. You can perform a Bible search for example

Kevin has given you a pretty in depth series of answers.

Also another simple way to search is to use the right click menu in your Bible.

Right click on a word in your in your Bible
Click on lemma for the Greek word or click on Selection to search for the English word
In the left side of the menu, click on Search this resource to search your specific Bible.

Like Kevin suggested the wiki pages will open up the real power of the Search tool.

Hi David,

There are two approaches

1) Run a Bible Search

2) From within a bible you can right click on a word and search the current bible for that word

I don't think there is a user guide. If there is, I would like to know how to acquire it.

You will find a great deal of help on these forums as well as at wiki.logos.com. Others have suggested attending Morris Proctor's training seminars - from everything I read, this is the best way to get training on using LOGOS. The recently released video set on using the Greek and Hebrew resources in LOGOS are also an excellent way to learn some of the more useful ways to use LOGOS, though the price has gone up considerably since most of us purchased it as a Pre-Pub.
