Beta 6 Crashes Consistently with Hymnal playing MIDI file

The Beta6 release has crashed (4) straight times while playing MIDI files from the Logos Hymnal. It has never done that in any previous beta releases. I did not capture the logs or I would have sent them.

There were changes in this area for this beta and was working, if you could capture some logs and send them in, I will take a look.

I have attached the log files. I think I did it right. I followed the
steps on the video. If not tell me and I will do it again.

This
crash is automatic. It has happened every time. So far it is 5 for 5.
I wish some Texas Rangers could have that kind of percentage at the
plate (that is a different story).

1.) I simply start L4 B6
2.) I open the Library window and choose Logos Hymnal with MIDI
3.)
This time L4 crashed after it opened the book. I did not do anything
with the book it crashed that fast. Other times I was able to play a
MIDI file but it still crashed.

4.) When L4 crashed I chose the option to 're-open the program'.

I
don't think it is an issue with my Mac. It is an IMAC 24 inch with the
latest Mac Operating system. I do not have problems with any other

Tommy had a similar issue and I made a fix the
other day. Well, an attempt at a fix as I never could reproduce. I think
it is an issue with the animation we use when navigating to media items
in our Media Resource view.

I haven't heard back from Tommy, but
these changes are in the next beta and do include some extra logging in
case this continues. Please let me know if this works when the next beta comes out.

I dowloaded and installed B7.

I opened the Hymnal with MIDI Resource and L4 crash (2) straight times. One time just after the hymnal opened and the other time I was able to play one hymn then it crashed.

I then reloaded my Mac. The same thing happened (2) more times. I never was able to play a hymn because it crashed just as the hymnal was opened.

I just downloaded B8. The hymnal seems to be working fine now.

I have opened and closed the hymnal several times while playing multiple songs. I have not had any issues.
