Can I delete L3 lbxlls files duplicated in L4, and point L3 at the L4 Resource folder?

In order to save precious laptop HD space, I am wondering if I can do the above.

In short, are the lbxlls files in the L4 resource folder identical copies of their namesakes in the L3 resource folder? Would the functioning of L3 be in any way compromised by performing this operation?

    The short answer is, no.

At some point - and we may be there already- the resources compiled for L4 will not be compatable with L3.

Hmm Sarcasm is my love language. Obviously I love you.

As an experiment I added a path to the new resources.  I have the LXX with Logos morphology in 4.0 but not in 3.0.  I would suppose that this resource is for 4.0, but, when I attempted to open it in 3.0, it was not found.
