Hi to all fellow users of Logos.
I have the need to look up for every time the word "God" appears followed by any verb in the Bible. Is there a way in which I can perform this search in Logos(3 or 4)?
Hector,
Yes...you can do that..multiple ways....I only have L4 so my answer is based on that.
But here is one way....
Start a "morph search"
Then choose your options:
Then type in the following:
But I suspect that what you are really asking is..."what verbal actions are attributed to God?"...is that true...?
That's another search entirely.
This is a perfect place to use the Grammatical Relationships section of the Bible Word Study (I believe you need Scholar's or above to do this). You will need to run different BWSs on each Greek and Hebrew word for God. Here's the Greek Theos for an example. The "Subject of" will give you a list of verbs that "God" is the subject of which you can expand.
You can accomplish this same search with syntax searching but this is one of the easiest ways to get to to this question.
Kevin...
You pulled that one out from under me! That was my next suggestion!

Robert and Kevin. Thanks for your suggestions. They met my need. God bless.
