Sluggish Performance, Reading Plan will not open from File menu

I have an iMac Core i7 with 16GB of available RAM. My copy of Logos 4 Mac (beta 8) consistently takes 18 to 20 seconds to open. Also since installing beta 8 I can't open my Reading Plan from the File menu but must go the home page (sometimes even that will not work) Log is attached.

Something must've gone wrong while you were posting, as there is no attached log.

Cameron- for some reason when I navigate to my Console.log and click 'Insert'- nothing happens. I have as yet to be able to overcome this.

Just on the off chance that it is a security issue, you might try browsing to the log files in finder and compress them. Then try to post them again. I typically save a copy of log files to the desktop in console, making them easier to find and compress together. That is also where my screen shots go, so it makes posting rather painless.

I have seen one person with a persistent problem of not be able to post anything using the paper clip. Hopefully this isn't your issue as well.

What happens when you try to open a reading plan from the File menu? (be as descriptive as possible; does the item hover when you highlight it? are there any visual artifacts?) Can you open other documents from the File menu? Is the home page visible when you try to open the document? Can you think of anything that I haven't asked that might be useful in diagnosing what's happening?
