Try right clicking on the bar at the top of the column and add columns to the list. It looks like none are selected.

Good idea, but neither right-clicking nor left-clicking brings up a menu.
James,
Try dragging the Library icon to a new panel, or typing "show library in a new window" in the command bar. See if you can add columns then.

Neither of those make a difference. Neither does reading view.
I'm just wondering how you might have gotten into this state. Are you using Windows too and if so which version of Logos 4?
Also, logs might be helpful in this case.

I haven't used the Windows version since around alpha 15 or so. I couldn't tell you what version it was (other than Logos 4) as I blew away VirtualBox once I thought L4 for Mac was stable enough. I'm currently on the most current version of L4 for Mac, Beta 8.
I can do some logs: 52818.Archive.zip

I get a context menu:
You're clicking in the wrong spot.
That did it, thanks, David. Though I think there's gotta be a better way to let people know they can change the column headers. This was obfuscated to say the least. But I guess all's well that ends well.

It's actually a pretty standard thing across Mac apps; see, for example, Mail and iTunes:
My own thinking is not so much that it needs to be more discoverable (at some point, all computer interaction resorts to idiom), but that we should have made sure that this couldn't have mysteriously happened.
