SUGGESTION/QUESTION: Genre search

Is there a way to do a search on the literary typing of Logos - I want to find other occurrences of Virtue/Vice list ... yes, I know that I can find lists in my commentaries/dictionaries but what I want to do is compare those results to the Logos tagging.

I'm not aware of it but agree it would be a valuable search option, particularly if we had the option of comparing the results in Hebrew/Greek as applicable alongside the english translation.

Is there a way to do a search on the literary typing of Logos

This process assumes you are running the beta and have Excel. (See Excel File and note below)

1. Create a blank passage guide.

2. Set the PG range from Matt-Rev.

3. Add the Literary Genre section to the PG.

4. Press CTRL P and set the option on the left to "Print as exported"

5. select "Copy to Clipboard"

6. Open excel, and paste the clipboard contents in cell A1.

7. Apply a filter to the list of "Contains Vice"

8. Copy the results of the filter to clipboard.

9. Create a passage list from the contents of the clipboard.

Now that you have the genres in an excel file you can save it and use it when needed. Simply set the range of a search to the PL you created.

EDIT: To save some of the headache of this I've created an excel file that will let you skip steps 1-6.

As always you are the King of these spreadsheets. Thanks for providing... still would like to see a built in tool but this is great for now. Appreciate your efforts.

Your welcome. I agree, being able to search this in house would be a plus.
