I've used Logos for years--having gone from Scholar's to Silver to Gold to Platinum; plus I have bought additional books. So I have a nice library. The problem is keeping track of everything. Sure there are a number of ways to sort and seach the library (title, auhor, etc), but Logos always seemed to me to be missing something. Finally, while in the public library the other day, it struck me. Logos needs to add a sort field to the library--one with Dewey Decimal System numbers. Since Logos provides a real library, why don't they provide a way to organize it like a real one?
I prefer Dewey over Library of Congress cataloging, because Dewey's organization on the shelf is more natural and logically organized. Also, if you folks at Logos decide to accept this suggestion please use the 22nd edition of the Dewey Decimal Classification System. Dewey reorganized the numbering system for Religion awhile back as relfected in the 22nd edition. This means that the Cataloging-in-Publication Data contained in many books is out of date.
Would love to hear from someone at Logos on this suggestion, and from others adding their vote for this improvement.
