I updated Logos to Beta 8 last week (i think on friday) and when i went to use it later that day, i noticed that some of my screens were just blank, and although it would say 'Nestle-Aland 27th Ed' on the top of the bar, the rest of the material from the book and the other tabs in the window were all gone. I thought it was probably just running slow, so i figured id come back to it the next day (saturday) and just restart my computer and it'd be fine. Saturday i come in, its doing the same thing, so i create a new window and everything is visible and usable, for about 5 minutes.. and then it crashed. So i got on here and started following different things to do (since y'all were closed) so i uninstalled and reinstalled logos beta 8 twice, including re-indexing it and now all i can do is open up beta 8 and it crashes within 5 minutes. I tried the blank opening as well, and that didn't work either. It also runs really slow from the start with the update, and sometimes just clicking "file" or "tools" makes the entire thing crash. The rest of my computer runs fine, works quickly, and has no trouble with anything, even when logos is open my internet browser still runs great. It is just Logos that is affected and it has only been since i updated it.
I have a macbook Pro with Mac OS X 10.6.4 a 2.33 ghz intel core 2 duo processor and 2 gb of ram All previous versions of logos have worked fine (although i did skip a few beta versions along the way, just because i was not using my computer this summer, so however many you updated this summer, i did not get those either), so i made the jump from alpha to beta 8 all in one day. below is my logging info.
If you could help with this rather quickly, i am in the midst of school, and have 4 original language classes (2 exegesis classes and 2 book studies in the original language), so logos really helps with homework. im ok without it, it just speeds the process along, so itd be nice to be able to use it... thanks.
