A few things missing

I know the Mac team is hard at work and that we all appreciate your hard work. However, as we near the final release I thought I would "help" by pointing out a few things that I have noticed. Most of them you probably know about, but perhaps there is an item or two that you do not. I am just trying to help.

- Notes needs work, particularly with formatting issues (but I am sure you know that).
- Clicking on a note title (or reference) does not link to the item being referenced by the note.
- The "Settings" menu that is part of Commentaries, Grammars, etc. of the Guides are not working.
- Multiple translations are not available in EG.
- I much prefer the dual column layout of the Cross references section of the PG in Win as opposed to Mac.
- Definitions in Information panel are truncated (you know this).
- I am not sure if there is supposed to be a pronunciation option for Hebrew, as there is for the Greek, in definitions in the Info panel or not, but there isn't.
- No option for different colored background in resource panels as in Windows.
- Speed is still a major issue for me, particularly with the generation of parallel resources and scrolling. Scrolling is, still, erratic or jumpy.

I am sure there are more, and perhaps others can help with the list. Again, great job. I am just trying to help in this whole beta process.

Yep. Notes is still being worked on.

Not sure what you mean by this. I know that in 4.1 on Windows, the Bible Word Study allows you to add multiple Greek or Hebrew words sections. Could you give me some more info?

We have a case for this.

Parallel resource generation is pretty slow on Windows too. Scrolling in the Exegetical guide and search results (when loading) are known issues on Mac too.

Not sure what you mean by this. I know that in 4.1 on Windows, the Bible Word Study allows you to add multiple Greek or Hebrew words sections. Could you give me some more info?

That should have been BWS. In Win you can open up multiple Translations or "word circles". Maybe that's in 4.1?

Yes, I have noticed that as well (ref: parallel resources).

Oops, had to fire up Windows tonight. Syntax Queries seem to not be working. Have never tried them in the Mac before. Unless I am missing something.

More detail on what you mean by "not working" would help us to track down which particular aspect of syntax searching isn't working for you.

Sorry about the vagueness. Some of that was fixed in B9. However, when I am trying to construct a syntax query (and I may not be doing it right as I am still learning much of it) I place a clause and then a CIC and it is directly underneath (one on top of the other) the clause so that I cannot see it or select it.

In the similar screen shot above, when I added the Segment it appeared "underneath" the Clause (one on top of the other. I could not see it, although its variable info was visible in the right part of the window, so it was selected). I had to close the search window and re-open it for it to show up this way.
