Annoying book preview

I'm really enjoying L4 Mac and using more often everyday. There is, however, an annoying 'thing' which I can't figure out how to stop. Whenever the cursor moves past an opened book title - however briefly - a window pop-up opens displaying the book's cover and information.

Can anyone tell me how to turn this feature off? Would appreciate your help.

Thank you Scott. You seem to be the only person, other than myself, that this seems to annoy. I have been begging for a way to turn this "feature" off. However, it saddens me to report to you that there is, currently, no way to do this. You will have to suffer the annoyance of a good portion of your screen and valuable information from resources being covered by these redundant (at least to me) pop-ups. Please, Logos, an option to turn this off!

I assume you are on Beta 9, as I did not see this behavior on Beta 8. On my system the pop-up stays open for a while and I am not sure how to make it go away or not occur, I assume it is a bug in the UI with Beta 9

On my system the pop-ups only occur if the the mouse is paused on an open tab, not when passing over a tab without pausing.

Personally I welcome this feature as I often have several commentaries or word studies open so the tabs are so small all they have on them is an icon without any hint of their contents, without the pop-up I have to open the tab to see what it contains.

But I do see how this could be annoying for some people and a system setting that disabled this fearture would be useful.

I hate the pop-up windows also, if someone knows how to turn them off I would be interested.

I am glad you like them. But, it should not be an either/or. All I am asking for is the ability to turn that feature off.

Unless it exists on Windows (i.e. is a cross-platform feature), it won't exist on Mac. Currently, there is no way to do this on either platform, but you can feel free to suggest the feature at suggest@logos.com or http://logos.uservoice.com

I also find the instant appearance of these pop ups a little disconcerting. Those that require the cursor to hover for a moment or two before appearing are a much better implementation.

In fact I think a deal of the 'instantaneousness' of Logos may make optimisation a little harder to accomplish. An example of this is could be found in both linked panels and tools like the information panel. While scrolling through my bible the linked commentary is dashing to keep up, the information window is like the scenery through a train window that goes past in a blur. Neither of these panels can provide any useful information until the place is found in the scrolling text and movement pauses. If the other linked panels waited until scrolling text paused for 1 sec before populating I wonder if the whole program wouldn't appear faster to the user?
