Also, there are too many suggestions from the Resource picker in Bible search.

Hi Dave ~  I'm not seeing the duplication in the LGNTI when hovering over a bracket. The LGNTI appears to have been one of the updated resources downloaded today, though, so maybe you'll see a difference once your updates are complete.  ~ Thanks, Melissa

No change, Melissa (forgot to state text was Acts 5:21)

I do have the updated LGNTI at 21 MB vs 17.2 MB.

there are too many suggestions from the Resource picker in Bible search.

Doesn't occur for HCSB in Beta 4.

But it occurs for LGNTI, NET, NRSV, LHI

Tanakh has 2 suggestions with different text as reported elsewhere e.g. Tanakh 1917

Okay, I can reproduce it when I hover over the word that has brackets around it. I was hovering over bracket. I'll report the duplication of "The enclosed text...".

Because the resource picker includes the open resource(s) in the list, it will show the resource you enter twice if that resource is open. The HCSB was probably closed when you typed it in the Search in Find box.

Tanakh was not open but generates the two I described. How does it help to show "open" bibles?

If you're seeing The Tanakh 1917 to the Jewish NT, in addition to Tanakh, The Holy Scriptures, this is because the first one is a series of two volumes, consisting of Tanakh, The Holy Scriptures and Jewish New Testament: A Translation of the New Testament that expresses its Jewishness.

The Open resource was included in the 'search in' list in LDLS 3, too. Often a user wants to search the open resource, and placing it on the list is a convenience.

I don't have the series, so consider it a bug that both are shown.

Searching an "open" resource is not an advantage I understand. How is it different to a "closed" resource? As both suggestions look the same how do I know which is the open one?

In L3, Basic Search would only suggest open resources or collections, so one would have to open a resource to search it! But L3 Bible Search made all Bibles available to search.

I will report it. To clarify, there is only one Tanakh title in Library?

    Thanks,
    Melissa

Melissa, I now get Tanakh 1917.... suggested for Tanakh and the results come from Tanakh, The holy Scriptures!
