Every action I tried in B-11 resulted in a spinning wheel of death and long delays.

Looks like your sync manager was running for 3 minutes and 40 seconds constantly, and you still had over a months worth of sync data to catch up on. Sounds like I need to create a case for testing tons of sync downloads from the server and and us Mac devs need to figure out what the problem is.
For me, the spinning happens very frequent each time when I return from using other programs i.e Word, Firefox. It will spin for about 5-10 seconds before the Logos functions again.

Would it help if I just let it run in the background?
UPDATE: I let B-11 run for about ten minutes without any actions on my part, and L4 now operates as expected. A few minutes ago, I had another glitch in that the ESV & LXX panes were blank over several different layouts. I clicked on the Add Tab button from the ESV which also brought up a blank pane. However, when I closed that pane, the ESV text appeared. Now, both ESV & LXX texts are always present.
I have found this to be the case when I first open L4 with a layout that I have saved. It seems to take a while to settle in and perform it's housekeeping duties before it is usable. I recall one of the Win L4 betas made the syncing function more efficient and this helped a lot. Leaving the L4 Mac running in the background is the way I approach the problem currently. If I close the program or have to reboot I open the program and let it settle for about 10 minutes. Let me know if you want me to close L4, open it and generate a log report.
