Steven,
Can you send us your layouts.db file? It lives /Users/stevenrobinson/Library/Application Support/Logos4/Documents/czzkceky.pp7/LayoutManager/layouts.db
You can work around the problem by holding Cmd after you launch Logos 4 and selecting "Use blank layout".

Here it is.

I don't have a "Use blank Layout" option in my menu list to use as alternative. The drop down list only shows Named Layouts. I've tried those too, but doing that only causes me to have a blank screen with a spinning beach ball.

Look at the grey screen that opens when you hold down the command key and launch Logos. That is where you will find the option to 'Use Blank Layout'.

I have the same problem. I booted the program up with the blank screen layout but when I try to navigate after the blank screen comes up it crashes again.

Would you mind posting your logs? There could be some other issue besides a layout issue that is causing you to crash.

I've tried that, but when I launch Logos 4 and hold down the command key nothing different happens, Logos 4 continues its startup process by loading my most recent layout, then it crashes.

Steven:
What are you launching from? The application icon in the Applications folder or your Doc? When you hold the cmd button down and click a doc icon it just jumps to that application icon in your App folder. You'll need to launch the program from the Application folder w/ the Cmd held down. You may think you are holding it too long but you aren't just keep holding it. If it helps you can select the Logos4 icon from your applications folder, hold Cmd and press the O key it will launch L4 and if you keep Cmd held down long enough the sign-in screen should appear with the blank layout option.
In the Jing video I made I launched by selecting the icon in the app folder and pressed Cmd-O. Then kept Cmd held in.

Tommy,
I've tried launching L4 from the Applications folder while holding down the command button to reach the Login screen in order to choose the "Use blank Layout" option, but it skips the Login screen by automatically signing me in. It proceeds to the preparing my library screen, then it advances to my most recent layouts then crashes. I've attached the logs.

I will be unavailable tomorrow and next week but we have a wonderful support and technical staff who are more than qualified enough the help you.
