The ability to erase highlighting without reselecting

    How?

Passage guide with a stop button

Not sure of the value of this. The items which I'm not interested in take so much of the cpu and produce first - hitting stop means that I get handouts and not much else.

How do I re-run the passage guide - hit enter after the bible reference? no. Hit the blue arrow next to the bible reference? no. Hit F5? no. This will run those elements which I haven't closed. I have to select revert to template from the menu under the book thing in the top left corner. Intuitive? no.

    "More" shows all commentaries

    This is great.

Thank goodness. Pity that I have to scroll to find yellow on my netbook.....

When you select a bit of text; highlight it and then change your mind; unlike V3 you don't have to go back and reselect it to erase it....just hit the erase and the new color!

It worked fine on my machine; sorry brother.

Got it now. It's still got to be selected... I'd still prefer an undo... but, it's good if you chose the wrong one and realise straight away.

Well, in v3, we could stop or minimise individual sections. We could then rerun the passage guide with F5 and still access those sections by expanding them. In v4, we can't stop individual sections and F5 only re-reuns what we have not closed.

Other than that, in v3 or v4, it makes no sense that enter or the arrow has no effect whatsoever on an interrupted passage guide.

You could suggest renaming it "bright yellow" so that it appears higher up...

    Damien,

Yes...it has to be selected and yes I was speaking of the "whoops" factor.

On the re running of the PG...I was making a little snide comment. On V3 you couldn't re run a guide. You had to change something to make it re run. I'd like to see a flat out "re run".

I DO AGREE....I'd like to be able to have sections NOT RUN until you "down arrow" them like in V3...PLEASE LOGOS IMPLEMENT THIS!

you're on your own on the pen renaming :)

how do you activate the highlighter pen?

Tools (Alt+T) and then Visual Markup (down left)

Just to throw in my two cents on beta 5 - I'm quite impressed. Great work, Logos! I look forward to seeing things continue to improve.
