Bug: 4.1 RC 1: Export to Excel adds to existing open workbook

If I happen to have Excel running with an existing workbook open, then use Logos to export Analysis view search results to Excel ("send to Excel"), it mucks with my existing open workbook rather than creating a new one. If I have a work-related or financial workbook open I don't want a sheet of Bible search results being added to it.

Steps to reproduce:

Open Excel, and open some very important spreadsheet not Logos related at all.

Open Logos. Do a Bible search and view the results in Analysis view.

Print/Export...

Under "Send to" click "Excel"

It creates a Sheet1 within the workbook already open (or Sheet2... if there was already a Sheet1), instead of creating a new workbook.

Imagine what would happen if you hadn't quite been paying attention and then had to shut down your computer and saved all your work as you did it. This page of Bible search output would be saved with your financial or work-related spreadsheet, and you might get some funny looks from your accountant or your boss.

This is the behavior I would expect and want. Assume that I am doing a study on the titles of the Holy Spirit - say the top ten. I do a search and export, do a search and export, etc. I don't want 10 workbooks - I want 1 workbook with 10 worksheets.. If I mixed it up with work, I'd blame myself not the software.

OK, good argument. Well then, how about an option in the Export dialog to export to new workbook or append to existing open workbook. I'm happy if the latter is the default. This would be akin to Adobe Acrobat's Create PDF command. There's an option (default) to append new scan to current document or create a new document. Similarly in Word, if you do a "compare documents" you have the option to either create it as a new document or leave the comparison results (with revision bars) in your current document. It isn't always a given that a person would want to add output to an existing document. I have Excel running all the time. I do a ton of stuff in it, bookings for our retreat cottage, keeping my list of books that I've read (with notes) and movies I've seen, some financial/tax stuff, etc. I am an inveterate multitasker. I'd have to shut down Excel (or close all workbooks) and then run the Logos export command to avoid what it does currently.
