iPad Roadmap? Next revision?
Logos,
I'm quite happy with Logos on my iphone, but on the iPad my expectations of the user experience are much higher. Are we going to end up with something that is similar to what Biblia tries to accomplish in a native app?
I'd like to be able to readily browse at least two linked resources when in horizontal mode...
Something closer to the desktop app coming along by chance?
Hints or something to whet our insatiable appetite for impatience and knowledge? :-)
Thanks,
-jbl

Since the most recent version has been out longer than previous versions, I think there must be some major rewrite or major additions taking place. I don't know anything others don't. Just guessing.

The high-level roadmap is in the FAQ.

A slightly lower-level hint toward timing and specific features would be very gracious. [:D] I've got to keep reminding myself that patience is a fruit of the Spirit.

Unfortunately the FAQ seems woefully outdated (~2009?). Ah well, who am I to complain about "free". :-)

2009 is when it was first posted. It was last updated in July 2010.

[:P] That's the question customers always want and developers never want to answer.0 -

I doubt THAT!
Now Kevin, as I recall, you have a Kindle, too.
Are you still enjoying the iPad, even with the limitations addressed above? Are there times, when you prefer using the Kindle over iPad, or do you switch from one to the other?
I have the newest Kindle, am thinking of the iPad and I already own a ton of Logos books.
Okay, so 1,980 pounds.

I seldom use the Kindle anymore. My wife and sons have it most of the time now. I'm thinking of getting her the new one so there is less fighting over it. But I prefer reading on the Kindle app. Works even he dark.Dr. Kevin Purcell, Director of Missions

But I prefer reading on the Kindle app. Works even he dark.I too have and iPad and use the Kindle App. One thing I discovered, there was a book I wanted, looked at local B&N all pictures were in black & white in the print copy, and it cost about $20. Bought it on the Kindle App, at 1/2 the price and all of the pictures were in color. It would not show up in color on the Kindle (it doesn't have color display). I think the color display makes it very valuable. The glare issue is resolved by putting on a matte screen protector (which I would recommend, who wants to have a scratched screen). So it works well for reading along with iBooks, B&N app not bad, but notes are better on Kindle and iBooks apps.
