Crash 4.1 beta 11
I tried updating Logos 4 beta 11 to beta 13 a couple of days ago. It wouldn't recognize the update (no update found) no matter how I set the update channel. Today I tried to update to RC1 with the same results. Then all of a sudden Logos 4 started to crash on startup. I tried the CTRL-key at startup to login and open in a blank layout. Still crashed. (Logos 4 has encountered and error and needs to close, etc.). I am attaching the crash log file.4251.Logos4Crash.txt

I've submitted your log to development.
Follow up: The crash that occurred when trying to start Logos 4 will be fixed in 4.1 RC 2. This specific crash occurs when Logos 4 is having trouble contacting our servers, indicating that a firewall or other program is blocking access. The problem you are having with updating may be related. You might try disabling all Internet security software before attempting to update. If that is not successful, please enable full logging (see instructions here: http://www.logos.com/L4/Support/DiagnosticLogging) and attach setup and install logs.

Hi Melissa,
Unfortunately, I get the same behavior no matter what I do. I signed in as the instructions suggest for diagnostic logging. As before, the Logos 4 screen comes up, and then immediately I get the error message indicating I must close.

Thanks, Dave. It's on my home laptop, so I'll not get to it until later. Again, thanks for the help.

Edit: Dave, worked perfectly.

With the fix now in place you should be able to attempt the next software update from L4 as normal.
