Does Logos take significantly longer for a search if you have a large reference library? Or is it just a matter of a few seconds either way?
As far as the CPU is concerned - Yes
As far as we are concerned No.
That is if your definition of 'significantly' is the same as mine.
But then I hanker for the time you could make a cup of tea in the time it took to search for things on a computer.
As long as I don't have to send out for coffee and sandwiches and kvetch about all the money I'm investing in the technology... [;)]
As long as your index file is current and your CPU/RAM isn't incredibly old I don't think the change would be dramatic. Maybe someone could explain in greater detail the benefits of indexing resources in Logos in relation to the OP's question.
