How can I do this?
You can't. The ESV Study Bible is not a Bible it is just notes on the Bible. You can, of course, have the ESV as your default Bible. Just prioritize it as your top Bible in Library view. You'll have to separately open the ESV Study Bible (the notes) and link them to the ESV Bible (the text).
i kind of thought so - i have the esv as my default already. thanks.

I was just playing around with this and my intial thought was your's Mark but if you make ESV Study Bible your top priority in your library, this in fact will open as 'default' when you enter a reference in the command bar or click on a bible link. But you are are correct that it is not type:bible , but type:bible notes, so if you were to run a search using TOP five bibles then ESV Study Bible would be ignored in this instance since it is not of type:Bible.
So making it top priority will work for 'links', but won't work for features of the software that are built around the resource type and in this instance the type:bible.
Peace to you!
You will be "thrilled" when you link the two and open a layout with just the two of them (ESV & Study Bible notes) and move back and forth trying various passages....
How do i access the ESV Study Bible Notes? I just downloaded it, but cannot find it in my Library.
It should show up if you type ESV in the Library search box:
If you are using Logos4 and you just downloaded it, then Logos4 is probably indexing. You will not be able to search or use the ESV Study Bible until this is complete.
see Logos page http://www.logos.com/support/article/2091
you can also take a look at the wiki page Installation and Indexing, scroll down and look for the heading Indexing
You will not be able to search or use the ESV Study Bible until this is complete.
You can list and read the book whilst indexing but the index process for this book alone is only a few minutes ie. once L4 opens to a layout or Home Page you can read it.
thanks Dave!
Sorry Bob, i stand corrected.
