Just wanted to know if Logos 4 can be installed on an iPad? I so, will you have access to your entire library from the iPad.
Thanks,
Tom
There is a Logos 4 app for the iPad. It doesn't have access to the entire library yet because the app draws its information from the web.
I suppose that if you could install OS X instead of iOS on an iPad you could try to run the full Logos 4 but I don't think the iPad has enough horsepower to accomplish such a feat.
The only option for the IPAD is the Logos App. You cannot load any other operating system. The APP is pretty amazing. You don't have access to everything, but you have access to a lot. I use it all the time. I have a pastor friend who uses it almost exclusively.
The real question is will the ipad/iphone APP every be updated to make it truly the useful jewel it could be by allowing us to sync what we want of our library onto the iphone. The upcoming accordance App is suppose to allow you to sync any item you own and I can;t tell you how happy I am for that. My logos app sits virtually unused on my iphone, because the items i want to use most aren;t available and since my connection to service can be very spotty I cannot reliably use it. I tried downloading available items I most wanted to use but there is no way to work offline other than putting your phone into airplane mode. and at that point footnotes for your translation you have downloaded to your phone are still not available, and if you make the mistake of clicking log off from your iphone Logos App, everything you have downloaded to your phone is gone. I am not trying to bash Logos' APP but give constructive criticism, hoping that with the near completion of the Mac APP much needed improvements can be made to the mobile APP.
