Copy and Paste Bible verses

I can not copy and paste Bible verses from L4 Gold into Pages for Mac. The paste part of the process works for Microsoft Word for Mac, but not for Pages for Mac.

When I paste into pages, I get funny symbol but no text with either a direct paste or with a paste and match format command.

This process used to work, but does not lately. Restarting everything doesn't cure anything either.

Ideas?

How are you copying and pasting? Are you using the Copy Bible Verse panel or just highlight->copy-> paste? What version of Pages do you have?

Can you be a bit more specific about how you're trying to copy Bible verses into Pages? Also, are you using the Gold master version?

I use the: select verse, right click, select selection, copy method from L4. I then pasted with current format option in Pages.

It was strange, it happened repeatably, rendering Pages document useless (thankfully all is kept backed up, or I might have an anger problem). The strange part was it only happened with one verse! The verse is from "King James Version" Proverbs 16:2
