Why & What Is It Doing?
Yesterday, I asked "what is it doing?". It was either downloading updates or indexing but what updates I was unclear about. Today, it downloaded and then indexed. Finished. I began to use the program for half an hour and then right in the middle of doing a word study, I got a popup saying Updates are ready to be installed and then the program closed and it is indexing. Again. It is not downloading.
I don't mind indexing but today I want to know WHY? It finished downloading and indexing. Now why the re-indexing? If there was more information provided when the program just does something, then it would make sense.

Todd,
I think the sequence my system fell into was download update (this morning), then index. And I was not aware of another update but it could have happened. Just because it is re-indexing, doesn't mean to me that there was an update download. Maybe. When we leave our computers on, things are happening that I really wish I could find out either before, during, or even after. I have no way of knowing what was downloaded today since I have limited computer knowledge. And I am not one to assume anything when it comes to computers.

It finished indexing for the second time today. Great! Then, it began to download yet another file. I thought it was done downloading. And I am not going to index a third time today. That is too much.
