Concern about interupted download

Last night I had to cancel a download which was about 80% through 750MB. Today when I connected to the internet, Logos doesn't think it needs to download any more. I have tried both the 'update now' and 'update resources', but neither have triggered the remaining download. Any suggestions? As Logos doesn't report anything about what it is specifically trying to download, I have no clue what was left to download.

Are you on the Gold Master? If not could you update to that (manually if need be from Tom's post)? And if you are at Gold master could you try updating resources again and if it fails post the logs?

Hi Tom,

Yes, I am running Gold Master. I did try updating my resources again this morning using 'update now' and a small 1.1 mb download was triggered. This is certainly not the size of the download that was left when I canceled (80% of 750mb). I then ran 'update resources' and Logos 4 reports there are no available updates.

So it's a bit of a mystery. Attached are my logs.

EDIT: I just checked my email and I believe that 1.1mb download was 'Bible Studies by Adolf Deissmann' which just went live.

Would you mind sending us the following files?

/Users/<your_user_id>/Library/Application Support/Logos4/Data/<some_chars>/DownloadManager/DownloadManager.db

/Users/<your_user_id>/Library/Application Support/Logos4/Data/<some_chars>/UpdateManager/Updates.db

I want to see what state they're in that they don't want to download the resource updates.

Once you upload those files, I think deleting the DownloadManager.db and the Updates.db and restarting Logos 4 should get you going again.

The files that you list above are attached. I deleted the files as instructed and this triggered a 455mb download, so something is now happening again!

If the two db files were corrupted, it is possible that our really bad internet connections here in Africa are to blame. Sometimes it is very, very difficult to download Logos updates and they can take many hours.

So I am not alone!

My downloads are continuing to be interupted (logs attached).

Every day I try again. Every day it fails at different points. In the meantime, whilst it is working it is a very slow download.

Yesterday it just stopped again as usual. When I loaded L4 again later it started indexing for about 2 hours. I am not sure what triggered the need to index but I was hoping that someh=thing had got past the blockade ... but this morning ... nothing.
