Apprehensively, excitedly making the Switch...PC to Mac

Probably should have posted before placing my order with Apple, but!...

I was hoping to get some feedback on whether or not my choice of system (iMac) will provide for a high performing experience with L4Mac.

Specs:

Processor	3.2GHz Intel Core i3 processor
Cache	4MB fully shared L3 cache
Memory	4GB (two 2GB SO-DIMMs) of 1333MHz DDR3 SDRAM; supports up to 16GB
Hard drive	1TB Serial ATA¹; 7200 rpm
Optical drive	Slot-loading 8x SuperDrive with 4x double-layer burning (DVD±R DL/DVD±RW/CD-RW)
Display	27-inch (viewable) LED-backlit glossy 16:9 widescreen TFT active-matrix display; 2560 by 1440 pixels; millions of colors; IPS technology
Video	Built-in iSight camera; Mini DisplayPort output with support for DVI, dual-link DVI, and VGA video (requires adapters, sold separately); supports input from external DisplayPort sources (requires cables and adapters, sold separately)
Graphics	ATI Radeon HD 5670 with 512MB of GDDR3 memory

If I need to, I can return the system within 14 days of receiving it. I purely made the decision based on the Apple Customer Service Rep who checked out the Logos website to ensure that I was getting a great system for OUR software. Was he right? Will it scream or just get by? Thank you for your help...Michael

It should run great. I have a recent i5 quad 27, so same HD, same RAM, slower Mhz but double the cores, and slightly better video card. Logos runs great for me.

I've considered adding 2Gb more RAM, because I often end up with Logos open, BW in Parallels, Firefox (RAM hog, can get up to 600Mb in my system), Word, iTunes, Evernote, and several other programs. I haven't quite hit my limit yet.

Logos runs pretty well on my 3 year old mac book - it should swing along nicely on your new system.
