problem: Sentence Diagram Tool w/Hebrew

Below is a text flow diagram I was working with in the sentence diagram tool. There is a problem with the way Logos imports the Hebrew text into the diagram tool (I marked a few examples though there are more throughout the text). It pulls in conjunctive/consecutive vavs, articles, and prepositions attached to the front of words as separate words. It should not put a space between them and the verb or noun they are attached to. That is, when the vav-conjunctive is connected to the verb in the actual text, it should still be connected to the verb when the text is imported into the sentence diagram tool -- so also with the articles and the prepositions.

This is a very helpful tool, so I hope this will be recognized as a problem and fixed

I've got 2 versions of the BHS: SESB 2.0 in my library and the problem only occurs with one of them. The text is correct and the same in both versions of the resource. I'll look into this and get back to you.

Melissa, I'm not sure what you mean. I have imported text into the diagram tool with BHS/WIVU and with BHS/WHM 4.2. Both do the same thing. I don't think this is an SESB issue.

I do see it with the BHS/WIVU and BHS/WHM 4.2 as well, however, I don't see it with my other version of the BHS SESB 2.0 or with the Lexham Hebrew-English Interlinear. I've reported this to development.

In fact the WHM 4.2 text does exactly what the SESB 2.0 text does.

BUT the WIVU text has even more problems

WIVU-specific problems:

1. Not only does the WIVU text seperate things attached to the front of words it also separates pronomial suffixes from the end of words. The vav circled in the picture below is part(!) of the pronomial suffix. The import tool seems to have read it as a conjunctive or consecutive vav.

2. The second thing I pointed to coming off the big exclamation point is the fact that it duplicated the words וְאֶת־מִצְוֹתָ֤יו

3. I marked at the bottom of the picture where it messes up what is suppose to be בָּהּ

FYI: in both the pictures I have posted, I changed the Hebrew font to SBL rather than Arial or whatever in font it uses by default. The font it uses by default is horrible. The problems noted in both posts were present before and after I changed the font. I think the default font it uses to import Hebrew text is an issue that needs to be addressed as well.
