How come some books can be read, but not downloaded?
I've noticed that some titles available for iOS can be viewed but not downloaded for reading offline. Here is one example:
Notice that the Available Offline option is completely grayed out. Is this normal or a bug? Are some titles not available for offline viewing? I don't understand why the Westcott Hort GNT would not be available since it is clearly in the public domain.

You need a license for the resource to download it. We have two versions of the Westcott Hort GNT -- one with morphology and one without. We make the version without morphology available to everyone for free, but don't give everyone a license. Our Original Languages, Scholar's Library and Portfolio base packages all include a license for the version with morphology. You should be able to download the version with morphology, which you have a license for.

Okay, I found the other one with morphology and downloaded it. Thanks.
I guess I didn't realize that I had access to some resources on the iPad that I don't have licenses for. Are there a lot of resources like this that can't be downloaded?
By the way, Dave, I enjoyed the podcast with your interview.

There are only a few resources that are available for free on the iPhone but not part of most base packages.

I have had a similar problem with The Fullfilled Family by John MacArthur. I can read it, but when I try to download it, I get the message "Offline Resource - Unable to download resource LLS:40.70.1.
