Have you checked the Internet Archive? They've got old snapshots of logos.com going back to 1997. They usually don't archive all that much depth of content, though, except for major high-traffic websites. But it's worth checking, if you remember the URL of where the old newsgroups used to reside.
Yup, they were at news.logos.com nntp based.
I actually had proposed - a long time ago- there a "my Commentary" tool. I really wanted to dig that full and IIRC detailed post out and repost it here and on UserVoice. I've seen a similar request around here but it wasn't as detailed as my memory thinks my original post was.

I installed a USENET server before news.logos.com closed down, so I have a copy of everything that was on the server at the time. It would theoretically be possible for you to install the same server, and I could provide the data if you wanted. You could then point your newsreader to your computer and 'download' all the Logos posts if you wished.

Ditto for the ability to export to PDF, HTML, TXT, and maybe even DOC(I'd push for ODT but that is just me perhaps).8. Copying and pasting from "My Commentary" should provide a nice footnotejust like any other resource in Logos.9. NO renewable licence fees as in PBB.10. Your additional ideas go here.
I currently use Notes, but your feature requests would be much easier and less time consuming and more useful in the end.Joe

It does seem to cross over into the'ultimate notes' facility that people (including myslef) have asked forrepeatedly. Just curious!yes, several of these ideas are also found in the PBB, but there areseveral intervening steps which are just plain laborious and nobody tryingto take notes as you go is about to follow the same steps every day torecompile all of their notes into a new version of the same old commentary. I think the way the sermon addin has solved the auto-compile and save issuehas been a good move. Further, there are limitations of a sort to PBBwhich just don't belong in Libronix. Things like Markup for instance? Notes as a general purpose tool can cause your system to slow to a crawl(See some of the recent comments regarding the geneva bible notes in otherlocations). But a properly executed "My commentary" would perform the sameinstant note writing ability without the lag time because as soon as yousave/compile it would act just like any other resource.
Yes this would be great- And I would use this verus notes 10 to 110. be able to import charts and diagrams in whole or part- copy and past would be great.
