While reading the ACCS Hebrews edition, I highlighted a text and clicked on "add clipping" in the open pane of the proper clipping file. Instead of adding my highlighted text, it added a clip from Josephus, one that I had added about 4 clippings prior. Here are some relevant points:
- the open resource (ACCS Hebrews) was in a floating window, kept on top through "deskpins" application
- I had made 3 correct clippings prior to this error, from the ACCS, by right clicking and selecting the proper Clipping file.
- This clip was attempted by clicking on "add clipping" in the clipping file (which was in the "main" L4 docked panels. (it wasn't a floting panel, iow)
- Once I right-clicked and selected "add ..." from the ACCS resource itself, the proper clipping then appeared.
- If I just select "add clipping" again, i get the same josephus (wrong) clip.
I just realized that it seems to be tied to desk pins. Josephus was anchored on the Main logos panel set (whatever we should call it) and that text--i just noticed--was still highlighted. (concurrently with the highlighted portion in the resource I was reading (ACCS) in the floating panel). Once i "unpinned" the panel, and still having both resources showing a highlight, I clicked "add clipping" (which is docked on the main Logos panel) and my desired "ACCS" clipping from the floating window was added.
Obviously the key problem is desk pins, however, it is still odd behavior to me. I don't know if this is something Logos would fix--or could fix. Can anyone with deskpins reproduce this and have any insight?
