Tips for L4 and Windows 7

I thought we could get a couple tips out there to Windows 7 users. What are your favorite tips? Mine are:

1)Put L4 first on the taskbar and pin it. Hit Window + 1 to open it to the first floating window. Hit Window + 11 for the second, Wind + 111 for the third, etc.

2) In dual monitor, quickly move one window between the monitors by pressing Window + Shift + Arrow left/right.

I don't get what I am supposed to do for this to work. This is what I have done:

1) I opened Logos 4 in Windows 7.

2) It is already pinned (permanently) to my taskbar.

3) I open a resource that I put in a floating window.

4) I hold down the Windows button and then press on 1. Nothing happens. Same for Windows and 11. I thought maybe I am supposed to use "+". Windows button, followed by +, followed by 1 opens the screen magnifier.

The feature referred to here and in other places sound intriguing but I have noted that I am not the only one who has not figured it out. What am I missing?

The pinned taskbar icons are numbered left-to-right and "1" is the first icon, "4" is the fourth icon, etc.. If Logos 4 is not the first pinned program on your taskbar, the Win+1 key won't work. You'll need to drag the pinned icon to the far left, or use a different number key.

Thanks, Bradley, works like a charm. Mine was in indeed in a different position (4th on the taskbar). Windows +4 or +44 worked just fine.

As a clarification for others who may read this and are not familiar with what this trick does: it toggles (or cycles) between the open windows of a given application (in this case Logos, but it works with other apps on the taskbar as well) in Windows 7. To press Windows + the number that represents the apps icon position on the taskbar from the left, open the first window of that app. Pressing on Windows + that number twice opens the second window of that app, etc.

Being able to toggle or cycle through several windows presupposes that several are open. In this case, in Logos, it means the main Logos window and at least one other (floating) window. This command is a handy way to switch quickly between them.

This command does not apply to switching between tabbed resources within one window.
