Home Page Devotionals Option

I am really enjoying L4! Thanks for all the hard work Logos! I was wondering if it was possible to have options for devotional reading on the home page? Right now, I see the 365 Devotional Commentary always popping up. In L3, I enjoyed looking at all my devotionals when it started up and then clicking on several of them. I don't know if this was discussed elsewhere. If this is not possible, what's the best way to put together a devotionals collection as soon as I start up? Create a layout? What do you guys think?

Thanks everyone,

Rob

It's been requested before. As one of the main requesters, I'm glad to hear there's more support for such an option.

You should be able to prioritize another devotional in the Library window; I think we only show a max or 1 or 2 devotionals in the Home Page content area, though.

Are the devotionals on the home page based on priorities? This doesn't appear to work in mine...

I'd like to see one less. I'd like to never see "More Light on the Path". It simply does not work on the Home Page....

I prioritized my devotionals and the only one I seem to get is the 365 Dy Devotional Commentary. I can't get any others to show up.

    HI Bob,

Right now I dragged all my favorite devotionals on to the toolbar. This is ok with me for now.  I personally like "Morning and Evening" and "My Utmost" as well as some of the others. On my home page, I see three: 365 Day commentary, amazing grace and american minute. Is it possible to put all the devotional excerpts on one page? even if you can put only three? Also, I was wondering if it is possible to have folders on the toolbars like we have in our internet browsers. I was thinking of a folder for example that says, "devotionals" and when I click on it, a drop-down menu of all my devotional books comes down and I can choose which book to open. I don't know if dragging a collection into the toolbar was supposed to set that purpose? Thanks though for considering this for us! I am loving L4!

Prioritzing my devotionals still does not bring up the right devotional on my home page. I still always get the same order (alphabetical) with the top three scattered throughout the home pages. Am I missing something here?

I can confirm this. I prioritized just the only one book:  On This Day. I see all others, but that one book [:)] It would be great if the devotionals would show in the following way:

    1) Only those which are prioritized would show in the HomePage.

    2) The Devotional book having the highest rating by user (5 stars?) would show up on the page 1.

I thing that would work great. Thank you very much for considering that.
