Essential IVP Reference Collection - Installation

I have recently purchased the IVP reference collection, and am having difficulty with the installation process. I have completed the first step - (installing the libronix engine - i am already running Logos 3) and yet when i restart libronix it does not install any further.
The instructions imply that the books will be activated the next time you open libronix and complete the activation code. However this does not occur.
Does anyone have any helpful clues?

After installing Logos 3 you need to leave the CD in the drive and reopen Logos 3. It should start to complete the installation at that point. Is that what you did?
BTW: It isn't necessary to install Logos 3 if you just want to unlock the contents and use them in Logos 4. A call to Customer Support with the CD in hand will take care of that. The next time you open Logos 4 it will discover you need the resources to be downloaded and will ask you if you want to do so.

Hi,
I have also purchased the tyndale commentaries and have a similar problem. i think it part installed and then it seems to be stuck in limbo.
Is there a way to uninstall the books and start again. I have seen on my records that 1 of the 2 packages has installed.

If you're running L4, its easiest for both of these that you call Customer Service. Give them the serial numbers and they'll put them on your account. That will allow you to download the resources and sync to your library. This is what I did with both of these packages just a week or so ago.
Of course, if you don't have internet service, this is a moot post. [:)]

I cannot get my new Windows 7 (64 bit) system to ask for the activation code after installing a new licence from CD and then launching L3 - worked fine in Vista and Windows XP.

I had a similar problem with the Tyndale Commentary on CD. IIRC: try leaving the CD in the tray, closing and reopening Logos 3 and then go to Tools|Account Management. I think that triggered opening up the verification routine.

I have tried several of the solutions, left the cd in the tray, tried to reinstall etc.
The closest i got was it began copying the files to my hard disk and then when got to 99% ish, it just hung - waited an hour, tried to cancel and select back without success.
Now i have 2 new pieces of software and no way to access them.

Don't know but you might have something on the disc. Have you checked it for scratches, dirt, etc.? Might be a defective disc from the manufacturer.

There IS an U.K. free phone for Logos, I am told; however, I don't know how to find it for you.
Perhaps some of the U.K. Logos Community Brothers and Sisters could help out here?

I cannot find the msg which gave me the solution. What i remember was that i checked a couple of different directories on the hard disk. One of the programs had installed files in the root directory instead of the correct one. These were then deleted, reinstalled and voila... problem solved.
