iPad Suggestions
The iPad has increased my reading time ten fold with the L4 app, it really is fantastic. Just a couple of quick suggestions so far would be... Adding an option to highlight and take notes (like the iPad Kindle app). Also, to have a Sepia tone background option would really help with eye comfort ( again, like the kindle app). Thank you L4.

Common request. I would also add a low light reading mode with white or very light ext and black background.

I agree but would also add split screen to the list. I stopped using the Logos Ipad because I couldn't underline, add notes or open a split screen (be nice to sync my study notes to the bible text). I use Olive Tree because they thought carefully about fashioning the app after the way I use my bible.

If that is even possible, I'd like to hear about it.
ACtually there are only two ways of using Logos 4 on an iPad. One is to use the Logos iPad App.
Or you can install a program like LogMeIn Ignition and run it to log into your desktop/laptop and run it remotely.

For iPad, it is. It is also the most expensive. But in this category you get what you pay for. I tried the others and all of them required too much configuration. The LogMeIn Ignition was incredibly easy and I use it ALOT!
That said, I seldom ever use it to control Logos. I am fine with the iPad Logos app and other not to be named Bible apps. I feel no need to do this. For me LogMeIn is a quick rescue tool that helps me get my ox out of a ditch digitally speaking or check the progress of a long video render from another room or even location.

I would also like to see the sepia background. It's very easy on my eyes.

I really glad for the app too. I would like to see the app's home page (for iPad) look like the home page of the logos 4. The screen is big enough for this to be possible. Also, the app crashes too often and there is a delay when you click the icon. It takes 30 sec to 1 min to load up. This happens when I have a wifi or 3g connection. I hope a new update is made available soon.

How about adding the ability to see 2 resources at the same time? That was such a strong selling point for any of the Logos products since at least Logos 2.1. I have a few commentaries, but they don't include a Bible. It would be nice to see the Bible along with the commentary. Even better if they can be linked together.

When making this request (and many others) you might want to note that the iPad is about 1/5th as powerful as the macbook air 11" (spec 453 vs 2026 ). It will not be able to handle much processing workload. Do not even think of using it as a replacement for a real notebook/desktop computer for real work. And be careful of trying to force LOGOS into putting too much onto the app. See http://www.primatelabs.ca/blog/2010/10/macbookair_benchmarks-late-2010/
They need to pick the (small) subset that we really need (e-reader is top of the list followed by notes, IMHO) and let it be a specialized tool doing what it does superbly.
