Crash When clicking My Tags in Library List
When I open L4B5 and click on the Library button, when it is in detail view if I click on My Tags or the Ratings sort buttons the programs crashes.

Hi Kevin,
I'm not able to reproduce the crash, but we'll review your log files.
Thanks,

In beta 6 this is still happening every time.

Kevin,
There still isn't any crash information in the new log file for the developers to analyze. Is the program having a chance to log the crash? Does the Microsoft window appear asking to send information?
Does the crash only occur when sorting by My Tags or Ratings, and no other columns?
Thanks,
Melissa0 -
The MS window does appear but it just says it is crashing. I do not get a question to send info. It just says it crashed and then after a few seconds it asks to close. I can't really read the dialogue since the drop down menu of the library menu is covering most of the box.
On that machine it crashes almost no matter what I click in the Library menu other than opening books.

What are the specs on this system, and how many total resources are on it?
If you have another machine it's installed on, perhaps you can try uninstalling Logos 4 from this one and reinstalling Beta 6 to see if that helps. I'll get a link for you to download it if you decide to do that. To uninstall, use Programs and Features in Control Panel and then delete the 'Logos 4' folder in C:\Users\Kevin\AppData\Local\.

I will uninstall when you get me the link.
The machine is a Lenovo desktop with a Quad Core processor and 8 GB of Ram and 2 hard drives. The one it is installed on is a 1 TB drive. Not sure of the total number of resources. I have the Scholars Silver plus a few others I've purchased along with it.

This is still happening even after B7 today. You mentioned a re-installation. I would need the download link for the latest beta. Anyway I can get that as I'd like to get past this or find it it is a continual problem with something on my machine.

Kevin,
Before you reinstall, you might try deleting all your tags and clearing all your ratings.

In the library window:
select all the resources: click on the first and shift-click on the last one, careful not to click on the Titles or the cover image (or else they will open and not select)
Click the (i) button to open the info pane,
and then click the clear tags button and the clear ratings button.

Another way is using Ctrl+A, after opening My Library, select one book (don't click on the title just the background) and then use Ctrl+A.

Thanks for that. I didn't think Ctrl-A worked, since I never clicked in the book list first. Btw, it seems you can also tab to the book list and then hit Ctrl-A

We were finally able to reproduce this issue on a Windows 7 laptop and have fixed it!
Look for the fix in the next beta.

Sorry; by "next beta", I mean the next one we release. Not one that's currently available.
