BUG: Cannot enter search range in bible search (4.0a SR-4)

I just discovered that the latest upgrade (4.0a SR-4 (4.10.4.6968) won't allow me to enter a search range in the Bible search page. The click is ignored completely. The failure exists on two different MACs (MBP and iMAC)

The problem does not affect the Windows version (4.1SR-4 (4.10.4. 6514))

Now it hangs the program. All I need to do is change from bible to morph search and it hangs. This is getting old fast.

This is a manifestation of an issue with a widely-depended-upon bit of code that has already been fixed internally and will be released soon.

This is fixed in SR-5, with one tiny little observation. When I first tried it I had dragged the app from one monitor to another during startup. As I tried to open the drop down lists they opened on the original monitor rather than where the app was currently located. Moving the app window again fixed the condition. It is probably not worth a bug report but might point to something interesting in the code.
