Hi Andrew, the log doesn't show any specific crash information, care to reproduce? Usually if the crash window pops up it helps to give it a good 15-30 seconds before clicking close, this way it has more time to write the log file (sometimes it doesn't write it right away)

Log mentioned something about an unexpected data type.. I thought that was the information that was indicating why the programm stopped responding. I can try again.

The information that represents a crash will (usually) claim an Error entry, then show a stack of which funciton calls were made all the way down to the application.run() call, yes it would help us if you could reproduce this once more, thanks.

Hi George I have been able to reproduce it again.. but nothing like you suggest is being written to log file:
I tried a third time and it didn't reproduce but the flow of steps was per screen shots below. Please not though in the instances when the crash occured the verse reference did not convert into a hyperlink as shown in the mocked up screen shots below. In the mock up it did convert and didn't crash.

Andrew,
The new log file doesn't indicate a crash, either. Does this happen in a new Note file, too, or just General Notes?
Thanks,

MelissaHi Melissa,
I was able to reproduce this same program has stopped responding error in a brand new note file but the logs still do not show any indication of the problem.
Andrew

And you're clicking on 'Close program' and allowing Logos to close before getting log file?

I think this is a similar problem to the one I reported here http://community.logos.com/forums/t/2607.aspx
When a keylink is not yet created but a verse reference clearly exists, hitting enter crashes the program.
