What's your favorite undocumented feature?

I'm conscious that there are lots of little undocumented features in Logos. What's your favourite little feature that most users won't know about? Here's mine:

You can not only search WITHIN WORDS, but WITHIN CHARS.
SHIFT+dragging a tab moves the entire panel, not just the current tab (and CTRL+drag copies the current tab, and SHIFT+CTRL+drag copies the entire panel).
And my new-found favourite: double-clicking the empty space in the tab bar (next to the plus) opens up the next parallel resource in a new tab.

A wireless mouse? Just kidding. No I don't. By the way the search tool as well as the library opens in a tab in a left or center pane when center clicking.

Some touchpads allow two-finger tapping to simulate a center click.

I think this is more of a hardware issue than an OS issue. L/R clicking didn't work for me on my Dell d630 running Windows 7. Instead, I implemented it using autohotkey (which I highly recommend by the way).

I find that clicking the middle mouse button on a tab to close it is much more useful than I thought it would be!

CMD + Click on the library button DOES open Library as a tab rather than as a floating window, although this DOESN'T work for backgrounding links.

I'm assuming that double clicking on the space next to an open tab is functionality that is coming to MAC but not working yet. Clicking on the + next to the tab DOES bring up a list of parallel resources however.

No, I don't think he clicks. As he mentioned in that post, he just hovers over each colored square in the results to quickly see the verse in that version.

I believe that for Jerry's search to be changed to use a different verse or passage you would need to enter it - it can't be "clicked" from elsewhere.

Now I finally understand also what Jerry was doing! And sharing with us! On the "shortcut bar," eh?? Very clever indeed! I just set up the same search with the range Phil 4:4-10 .......

I kept my ESV open on one side --- my search on the other side --- and I found it amazing what hovering over the various verses of the various Bibles communicate -- even the Greek texts show up

I like dragging website URLs to favorites or to the toolbar. For instance, I have a folder called Wiki and I dragged to it the url to the search help page. This saves me time looking for it again effectively creating a parallel help file in Logos. Other applications include linking to favorite research websites such as CCEL. I rename the links to something more useful and less messy.

Thanks everyone! I wasn't connecting that it was about searching rather than linking (brain blue-screen I was thinking that it was an easy way to link many bible versions to one open bible passage or verse, which of course can be done through text comparison. Sorry for the confusion. Thanks for the clarity.

Except that it only works with Bibles that are morphologically tagged. The word list finds hits in all (English) Bibles:

Morph search needs tagging so not usable for Bibles without morphological tagging (majority of English Bibles in my Library).

Personally was looking for discourse key words that connect or relate thoughts along with finding something in vast majority of English Bible verses (e.g. matched 4 versions of John 11:35). Search time depends on number of verses. For example, searching the entire New Testament took many minutes (505.30 sec) on a 2008 model laptop. A feature I find useful from time to time is that if you are using a resource that has a Bible index, such as a commentary or a harmony of the Bible, or The Treasury of Scripture Knowledge, you can temporarily prioritize it somewhere between the second and fifth spot from the top in the library and when you right click on a Bible verse and select reference on the right side of the popout, at the lower left side, you can choose that resource. I am current teaching the life of Christ and having access to Robertson's harmony is really handy. When the study or sermon series is over you can return the prioritized order to your previous settings. Of course you can include these resources in your layout, but if you just want occasional reference to them, it works for me.
